Who are Our Relatives?

Every year, David's family gets together in August and again in December for large family trips. These trips have included a houseboat to Lake Powell, skiing in Utah, touring from a villa outside Sienna, and, this past summer, from a tiny village in the Dordogne region of France.

Bonnie's family has decided this sounds like fun. So, to celebrate their parents' 45th anniversary, Bonnie and her brother took them to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland Oregon.

Paul and Joan are Bonnie's parents. Barry is her Brother. David was included in this trip, but someone had to take the picture.

Sylvia and Eugene are David's parents. Heather and Johanna are his older daughters (Katie and Emily are too young to be at the wedding); Tim is Heather's fiancé. Sue is David's sister. Bruce is her husband; John, Gordon and Evelyn are Bruce's sons and mom. Fran, along with her husband Ken (not pictured at left) have been so generous with their hospitality to Heather and Sue that they were invited to join us on this trip to France.

We wanted our attendants to be those people who, other than our parents, we most confided in and looked to for support and comfort over the years. Barry will be the Gentleman of Honor. For all the eligible Jewish women out there, he can be reached at barry.friedman@wilcom.com. Heather will be the Best Lady.

David and Bonnie decided to get in on the act, and took Heather and Tim for a long weekend of skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and theater. Of course, we had to cut some corners ...
